POSTPONED - 2022 Dallas Aging & Cognition Conference

Monday, January 31, 2022 at 9:00am to 12:00pm

Dallas Marriot City Center 650 North Pearl Street, Dallas, TX, 75201

Due to the current COVID-19 surge in North Texas, we regret to inform you that the 2022 Dallas Aging & Cognition Conference will no longer taking place as an in-person event. Further details about alternative arrangements will follow.

The conference is focused on the cognitive neuroscience of aging and is organized by the Center for Vital Longevity and co-sponsored by the UT Dallas Office of Research and the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences.

Since the inaugural conference in 2010, researchers have been gathering every two years in Dallas to focus on new perspectives in the cognitive neuroscience of aging, while sharing their latest discoveries through invited and submitted platform talks and poster presentations.

DACC 2022 will be a unique occasion, dedicated to honoring the scientific contributions and impact of the CVL’s founding director, Dr. Denise C. Park. Reflecting her diverse interests, the invited platform presentations will be organized along with four themes:

  • Culture and Social Class Sculpt the Mind
  • Transitions to Cognitive Frailty with Increasing Age
  • New Advances in Theories of Cognitive Aging
  • Interventions to Maintain Cognitive Vitality

Persons with disabilities may submit a request for accommodations to participate in this event at UT Dallas' ADA website. You may also call (972) 883-5331 for assistance or send an email to ADACoordinator@utdallas.edu. All requests should be received no later than 10 business days prior to the event.
