Please join the Student Counseling Center for our annual Mental Health Symposium. The 2026 Mental Health Symposium: Exploring the Dimensions of Community & Connection, emphasizes the role of community in mental health and wellbeing. The Symposium centers the understanding that mental health is shaped not only by individual experiences, but by the relationships, systems, and environments in which people live and learn. Community and connection are both protective factors as well as pathways to healing, especially in a time when isolation, resource gaps, and systemic stressors are increasingly common.
The goals of this year’s symposium are to:
We will host a variety of UTD resources and communuity providers at the resource fair that will be hosted concurrently with the presentations.
