  Health Symposium. The 2026 Mental Health Symposium: Exploring the Dimensi
 ons of Community & Connection\, emphasizes the role of community in mental
  health and wellbeing. The Symposium centers the understanding that mental
  health is shaped not only by individual experiences\, but by the relation
 ships\, systems\, and environments in which people live and learn. Communi
 ty and connection are both protective factors as well as pathways to heali
 ng\, especially in a time when isolation\, resource gaps\, and systemic st
 ressors are increasingly common.\n\nThe goals of this year’s symposium a
 re to:\n\nIncrease awareness of community supportsHighlight how UTD studen
 ts\, faculty\, staff and community partners can collectively support wellb
 eing and foster environments that promote connection and careEmphasize Bel
 onging as a protective factorInspire collaboration and actionWe will host 
 a variety of UTD resources and communuity providers at the resource fair t
 hat will be hosted concurrently with the presentations.\n\nAddition inform
 ation will be made available on the symposium webpage. \n\nRefreshments wi
 ll be provided while supplies last.  \n\nPart of Student Affairs Health an
