Dr. Nie will provide a MIRA Award (R35) webinar to UT Dallas researchers. MIRA provides support for the research in an established investigator’s laboratory that falls within the mission of NIGMS. The goal of MIRA for Established Investigators (PAR-22-180) is to increase the efficiency of NIGMS funding by providing investigators with greater stability and flexibility, thereby enhancing scientific productivity and the chances for important breakthroughs.

In this talk, Dr. Nie will review application requirements, offer guidance to craft strong applications, and answer questions about the program.
