Struggling to make sense of your literature review? You’re not alone! This workshop is designed to help graduate students understand what a literature review really is—and how to write one that works. We’ll break down the purpose of a lit review, how to organize your sources, and strategies for synthesizing research instead of just summarizing it.

You’ll learn:

  • What makes a strong literature review (and common pitfalls to avoid)
  • How to find, evaluate, and organize scholarly sources
  • Tips for writing clearly and making connections between studies
  • Ways to keep your review focused and relevant to your research

No matter where you are in the process—beginning, revising, or somewhere in between—this session will give you tools to feel more confident writing a literature review!
