This event is part of the BRIGHT Leaders Teaching Leadership Compassion series.
BRIGHT Leaders is an inclusive program that enables the success of all UTD employees by providing growth opportunities for staff and faculty at all levels. Participants can learn leadership principles and access tools so they may "Lead from Where You Are," and that support and nurture the professional development of bold, responsible, high-performing, and transformative leaders.
Lead From Where You Are is designed to assist individuals in understanding that everyone has the potential and responsibility for leadership. Based on the work of John Maxwell, the goal of the class is to help people understand the strength and influence of where they currently reside in the workplace and to introduce them to skills that will help them lead from that position. This class also serves as Session 8 in the Admin U certification series.
UTD strives to create inclusive and accessible events in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). If you require an accommodation to fully participate in this event, please contact the event coordinator (listed below) at least 10 business days prior to the event.
