Art-a-thon T-shirt Design Contest Guidelines

The T-shirt design competition is the star of the Art-a-thon event! Show off your creative flair for the chance to have your design featured as official merchandise at the Crow Museum gift shop. The winner will also be featured on UTD Crow Museum Ambassador social media and receive a free T-shirt with their design on it!

Theme

Choose an artwork from the Crow Museum’s permanent collection that resonates with you—whether it inspires, moves, or personally connects with you. Use that piece as the starting point for your original T-shirt design.

Your design must be inspired by the artwork—not a direct copy or reproduction. Think creatively about how to interpret the piece in your own unique style.

To be eligible, the artwork must be part of the Crow Collection (look for the labels that say “Crow Museum of Asian Art” in the galleries. If you are unsure if an artwork is eligible, ask a Museum Ambassador!)

Let your creativity bring the collection to life—on a tee!
