BFSA Juneteenth Kickoff Celebration

Monday, June 13 at 11:00am to 1:00pm

SU Mall Plinth

Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States. At UT Dallas, our Juneteenth celebration is an opportunity for our community to celebrate and honor the sacrifices that have been made in the ongoing pursuit of freedom. The weeklong festivities are kicked off by the Black Faculty & Staff Alliance, with a joyous celebration at the Plinth.

We hope that this year you will join us for the array of activities including music, performances, food, and of course FREE SHIRTS (while supplies last). This event is open to all students, faculty, and staff so, please share and join us if you can!

Persons with disabilities may submit a request for accommodations to participate in this event at UT Dallas' ADA website. You may also call (972) 883-5331 for assistance or send an email to ADACoordinator@utdallas.edu. All requests should be received no later than 10 business days prior to the event.
