The 2020 Black History Month Research & Film series is your chance to hear Arts and Humanities graduate students and local leaders share their expertise and a relevant movie or documentary.
Mr. Victor Obaseki, Ms. Lindsey Wilson and Ms. Jessica Esquivel of the City of Dallas Office of Equity will explain how they helped create last year’s Undesign the Redline Exhibit on local history and segregation. Dr. Kimberly Hill will also discuss her role on the community advisory board. The talk will be followed by a short film exploring the legacy of redlining policies called “Segregated by Design.”
