Comet Calendar

This event is part of the BRIGHT Leaders Teaching Leadership Compassion (TLC) Series. Please join us on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 10am to 12pm in SLC 1.204, as we explore the exciting concept of Enneagrams and talk about how this tool can lead us to be better employees and coworkers.

Registration for this event is now CLOSED.

Please note, this event is in-person and space is limited. In order to ensure all participants recieve a calender notice, registration will close at 2pm on Wednesday, June 12th, or as space permits.

Exploring the Enneagram is intended to help you better understand your Enneagram Number and how it interacts with others. Each personality type (1-9) will be reviewed, and the live, in-person session will allow for group interaction and discussion.  The Enneagram is a tool designed to help participants better understand their motivations, core beliefs, and the unconscious patterns that drive their behavior.  The more we know about ourselves, the better equipped we are to strive to be the healthiest version of ourselves. If you are new to the Enneagram tool and would like more information prior to the event, Dr. Shewee highly suggests reading The Road Back to You, by Suzanne Stabile (available at most book retailers). You may also find the mobile app "EnneApp" (available through the App Store and Google Play) helpful. This app includes more information about each type as well as a free self-assessment to help you determine your enneagram number. (Please note, these resources are not required for attendance nor endorsed by or provideded by the University of Texas at Dallas, they are a suggestion from the presenter for further education on this subject).

This event is in-person and will meet in the Science Learning Center, room 1.204. Seating is limited, so be sure to register early if you’re interested! Registered participants will receive a calendar invite reminder within a few days of registering. Due to the in-person setting, this event will not be recorded. We apologize for any inconvenience.
