From the COVID-19 delta variant to long-haulers suffering effects months after infection, information about COVID is always evolving. But the importance of being vaccinated against COVID-19 has not changed. Join Dr. Reuben Arasaratnam, UT Southwestern assistant professor of internal medicine, and Dr. Rafael Martín, UT Dallas vice president and chief of staff, for a conversation about the vaccine’s benefits and the long-term health risks to unvaccinated individuals who contract the virus. Dr. Richard Benson, UT Dallas president, will offer opening remarks.
