Regina Ybarra, PhD
Working from home, eLearning, and worrying about the financial, health, and social impacts of the COVID-19 virus can take its toll on individuals. Learning how to manage in this new and uncertain environment can be a challenge. This talk will focus on the effects of stress on our bodies and mental health. After a brief description of how stress impacts physical and mental health, I will discuss various strategies individuals can utilize to reduce stress, cope with anxieties, and manage their mental health while juggling new and changing responsibilities in the time of social distancing.
