The Fall Arts Festival is continuing its tradition of sharing the work of our arts students and is sponsored this year by Homelight Realty. The event will include an art exhibition, musical performances and more. The Fall Arts Festival has traditionally featured the work of more than 600 students from more than 40 courses.
Sunday, November 14 - UT Dallas String Orchestra and Wind Ensemble featuring the UT Dallas Brass Ensemble
Premiering at 3:00 p.m. on YouTube
The String Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, and Brass Ensemble will perform an end of semester concert directed by Adron Ming, Linda Salisbury and Robert Lapinski.

Monday, November 15 - Brass Ensemble Concert
The Brass Ensemble will be performing in Jonsson Performance Hall. Come join us for this exciting evening of musical entertainment at 5:30 p.m.
Pieces include works by Wagner, Shaw, Holst, Piazzolla, Handel, Ewald, Arnold, Whitacre, Mussorgsky, and Wonder.
Wednesday, November 17 - Jazz Ensemble Concert
The Jazz Ensemble directed by Kelly Durbin will be performing in Jonsson Performance Hall. Come join us for a night of jazz starting at 7:30 p.m.
Monday, November 29 - Improv
Improv will be performing in University Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Come join us for a laugh!
Tuesday, November 30 - String Orchestra
The String Orchestra has performed an end of semester concert we'll be premiering on YouTube on November 30th at 7:30 p.m. The video can be watched during the premiere or thereafter.
Pieces include works by Vivaldi, Bach, Mozart, Pachelbel, Dvorak, Smetana, and Shostakovich.

Thursday, December 2 - Creativity Performance
The performance will be in University Theatre at 4:30 p.m.
A showcase of live experiments, multimedia performance, video works, and other experimental provocations featuring collaborations by MROFREP Performance Research Lab’s Arya Rani, Damian Probity Enyaosah, Joey Turner, Rinku Bhattacharya Das, Tara Lynn Lyon, and Laura Hyunjhee Kim

The performance will be in Jonsson Performance Hall at 6:00 p.m.
Students from MUSI 3136 and MUSI 2315 will perform.

Friday, December 3 - Art
SP/N Gallery at 6:30 p.m.
The student art exhibition features artwork from students in printmaking, painting, contemporary practices, photography, mixed media, sculpture, experimental dark room and advanced visual arts courses. There will also be two capstone projects.

Students from the University’s Advanced Orchestra and Chamber Music Ensemble perform with UT Dallas faculty and other professional musicians under the direction of composer-conductor Robert Xavier Rodríguez.

In this video, Demi Cartwright tells of her path to filmmaking, her creation of a high school film curriculum and her experiences teaching with Inclusion Films, a company started by filmmaker Joey Travolta that aims to teach the art of filmmaking to people with developmental disabilities.
Thursday, December 16 - Advanced Voice
View on YouTube beginning at 8 p.m on Dec 16. Advanced Voice (MUSI4322) is an advanced level course for students with experience in vocal instruction. Students study significant works in foreign languages, in a variety of styles and genres, as well as diction, character development and stage deportment.
