This film tells the story of a desk acquired by Tim Mallad, CEO of Forefront Living, many years ago and the secrets that are now being told. The desk contained a secret compartment filled with letters in German written during and shortly after the Second World War. The letters depicted a complex and shocking story that took nearly 30 years to piece together. The story involved a Jewish family’s escape from Nazi persecution after the Kristallnacht and the fate of their Christian relatives at the hands of the Russians during the last week of the war. Sadly, the events depicted in the letters are happening once again in Europe, making this story even more important to tell. Thanks to the help of many people, this story is featured in the documentary, Let Us Die.
