Don’t Have Sex! And Other Lessons from High School Health Textbooks

Dr. Amanda Fehlbaum is an Associate Professor of Sociology at Youngstown State University. She received her BA in Gender Studies and her MA in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas and her PhD from the University of Oklahoma. Her research interests include gender, sexuality, and body studies. She is proud to be involved with quite a few progressive endeavors that align with her belief that the personal is political.
