2022 GMC Film Festival Schedule

Join us for the Global Media Festival presented by Global Media Cultures (ATCM 3325) students. The two-week international film showcase introduces documentaries, live-action fiction, animation, and other genres covering land rights, migration, translation, indigeneity, race, sexuality, and more.

The festival explores key issues in global studies through a variety of films. Our critical analysis focuses on how media content represents local lifestyles for foreign audiences and how the global circulation of media creates a sense of belonging in the world, and how the world operates.

There will be a post-show Q&A after the final film each day.
