The Center for Teaching and Learning presents
Guidelines for Faculty in Guiding TAs to Optimize Mutual Benefits
Facilitated by Dr. Paul F. Dieh and Dr. Karen Huxtable-Jester, Director and Associate Director, CTL
How can teaching assistants (TAs) be trained and mentored for the mutual benefit of the instructor and the TA? This webinar identifies some of the general problems that come from lack of TA training and provides guidelines and materials for how instructors can optimize the use of TAs. This in turn will help TAs get the most out of their experiences as they learn how to become effective teachers.
