Join us for a virtual conversation with filmmaker and grandson, Eduardo Chavez, to discuss his acclaimed documentary, Hailing Cesar. Moderated by American Studies Professor, Dr. Kaaz Naqvi.
Film Hailing Cesar is a documentary that highlights human rights activist, Cesar Chavez, who in the 1970s fought for the rights of farmworkers in the United States. This film captures Eduardo's personal journey in connecting with his grandfather's legacy through the eyes of those he affected.
This Hispanic Heritage Month, join us as we highlight the story of renowned Latinx hero, Cesar Chavez!
