Hanzhang Lu, PhD
Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Radiology and Radiological Science
Brain imaging provides an important opportunity for diagnosis, prognosis and treatment monitoring in vascular cognitive impairment and dementia (VCID). In this talk, Dr. Hanzhang Lu discusses a potential framework of biomarkers for the classification of vascular cognitive impairment and dementia (VCID), specifically describing cerebrovascular reactivity (CVR), an important physiological parameter of vascular health, as a candidate biomarker in small vessel disease related VCID. About This Series
Talks take place off of main campus, inside Center for BrainHealth's Brain Performance Institute (near Love Field Airport). This research-focused series invites scientists to share their discoveries with students, other brain health researchers and curious members of the public. All are welcome, but please note that these lunchtime lectures are heavily science-focused and are not necessarily intended for a lay audience.
