Please join us at our three amazing events on October 14!

The Bass School and the Center for Translation Studies welcome horror and gothic genius Mariana Enríquez for an afternoon reading and conversation on Monday, October 14, in the 3rd floor gallery space, ATC 3.102 from 1:30 to 3 p.m.

Enríquez will read from and discuss her best-selling and award-winning novel Our Share of Night (2019). This conversation, with Bass School PhD student Raul Calvoz, will offer insights into her creative process and the themes that drive her work. The event is free and open to the entire UTD community and greater DFW metroplex.

Argentine author Mariana Enríquez is known for her ability to weave horror and the supernatural with the stark realities of contemporary Argentine life. Her work explores violence, death, and the dark undercurrents of society, offering readers a unique blend of literary horror and social commentary.
