Event Details

For this International Animation Day, the UT Dallas celebration will include the following screenings:

5 pm: We are celebrating five years of creative exploration at the experimenta.l. animation lab. To mark the occasion, we will showcase selected short films crafted by students, blending bold ideas with hands-on techniques.

7 pm: Screening of the Best Shorts awarded at the 2025 Annecy International Animation Festival in France. Note: Best Shorts is rated PG-13.

UT Dallas celebrates International Animation Day, a global tribute to the art of animation worldwide. In 2012, ASIFA, the Association Internationale du Film d'Animation, created International Animation Day.
