Juneteenth Book Club Meeting #3

The Juneteenth Planning Committee presents the inaugural Juneteenth Book Club. Join us as we read Mule Bone: A Comedy of Negro Life by Langston Hughes and Zora Neale Hurston. Drawing on Southern black oral tradition and folklore, the play features such customs as “mule-talking,” a type of verbal one-upmanship.

We will meet via Microsoft Teams starting Monday, June 15th , June 29th, Monday, July 13th to discuss the book.
