Calling all dancers and K-Pop fans! In partnership with Intercultural Programs (ICP), the Asian Studies Minor and Center for Asian Studies (CAS) present K-Pop 101 as part of iWeek 2026!
Join us on Wednesday, April 8 from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM to learn about the cultural impact of K-Pop along with a dance routine to the chart-topping song, "APT." choreographed by the group KPOP DANCE NORTH TEXAS (KDNT). The event will end with a group finale performance all together! Wearing a black top is suggested, and all levels are welcome with no previous skills or knowledge required.
Kimbap will be provided (limited supply & first come, first served), and the first 30 people to check in will receive a free t-shirt!

11:50 - Dance Workshop
12:50 - Group Finale
This event is free and open to all students, faculty/staff, and the general public. The workshop has limited spots, so please RSVP!

Parking Information:
For non-affiliated UTD visitors, please download the parking permit and print beforehand so that you can display it on your dashboard when parking. The permit is valid for any orange space on campus, and since it is the second-highest level (purple being the highest), you have the option to park on any gold or green spaces if orange spaces happen to be full.
For best access to Edith O’Donnell Arts and Technology Building (ATC), please park at Parking Structure 1 (PS1):

Campus Access:
From Floyd Rd, turn west on Bryce Jordan Dr. Then turn south on Drive G. Park in PS1 in gold and orange spaces only.
Upon exiting PS1:
Head west, towards campus. Walk past the Davidson-Gundy Alumni Center (DGA), and the ATC building will be on the other side!
Parking:
Please park on Levels 3-5 of PS1. Level 3 in PS1 is where orange spaces begin.
