Violinist Eunice Keem has established herself as a dynamic and engaging artist, equally compelling as both a soloist and a chamber musician.  She joined the Dallas Symphony Orchestra in 2011, and, since 2014, she has served as Associate Concertmaster.  As a soloist, Ms. Keem has performed with orchestras such as the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, National Chamber Orchestra, Park Ridge Civic Orchestra, Keweenaw Symphony Orchestra, Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra, and the Evanston Symphony Orchestra.  Her many honors include top prizes at the Irving M. Klein International Competition, Schadt International Competition, Corpus Christi International Competition, Kingsville International Competition, as well as a Paganini Prize at the 7th International Violin Competition of Indianapolis.  As a chamber musician, Ms. Keem was a member of the Fine Arts Trio, first place winners of the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition. They performed on Chicago WFMT’S “Dame Myra Hess Concert Series” and “Live from Studio One.”  She again received first prize at the Fischoff National Competition, this time with the Orion Piano Trio. She was also a founding member of Carnegie Mellon University’s Starling Quartet, with whom she toured Costa Rica, China, and the United States in their series of concerts and masterclasses.  Ms. Keem has participated in the Grand Teton, Lake George, Colorado, and Breckenridge Music Festivals, and she currently serves as Adjunct Professor of Violin at the University of North Texas.

Praise for Russian pianist Mikhail Berestnev includes:  “…flawing technique and constant inspiration…superb sonority…” (Belgian La Libre Magazine) and “…an astonishingly gifted pianist…equally at home as a soloist and collaborative pianist” (Theater Jones, U.S.).  Berestnev has won prizes at the Delphic Games, the Stanislav Neuhaus Competitions in Russia, the Sydney International Competition, the BNDES International Piano Competition (Rio de Janeiro), the Neuhaus International Piano Competition (Chelyabinsk, Russia) and the Maria Canals International Piano Competition (Barcelona).  He was also a semifinalist in the Queen Elisabeth International Piano Competition in Brussels.  He has performed with many Russian orchestras as well as the TCU, Meadows, Sydney, San Angelo and Brazilian Symphonies, the Royal Chamber Orchestra of Wallonia and the Plano, San Angelo, Irving and Fort Worth Symphonies.  He is also active in chamber music, including performances with musicians from leading Russian Orchestras such as the Symphony Orchestra of the Bolshoi Theatre and the ensembles Moscow Virtuosi, Musica Viva, the Julius Quartet and, most recently, the MAKE Trio.  He studied at the Russian Academy of Music, TCU (Artist Diploma) and SMU (Performance Diploma), and he recently recorded his first solo album.  Berestnev regularly performs with Musica Nova at UT Dallas.
