Pursuing Equitable Workload for Faculty
Friday, April 28, 2023
12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
CRA 12.110

Speaker: Laura Naumann, PhD
Nevada State College

Dr. Naumann will discuss the research related to the impacts of inequitable workload, especially for women and BIPOC faculty, as well as evidence based-strategies to mitigate workload differences. This research informed her grant proposal for her recently-awarded $1M National Science Foundation (NSF) NSF ADVANCE award.

The NSF ADVANCE program is designed to foster gender equity through a focus on the identification and elimination of organizational barriers that impede the full participation and advancement of diverse faculty in academic institutions.
