We will cover recommended first-semester courses, how to pick a track, course waivers, and more.

• If you took the undergraduate equivalent of one of our core courses, you can apply for a waiver of the graduate course once you’re admitted to our program.

Example:  If you took MKT 3300, Principles of Marketing (or equivalent course) and earned a “B” or better in the past six years, you can apply for a waiver of MKT 6301, Marketing Management.  You can then substitute a higher-level elective course, if you wish.  Here’s a link to the waiver form page:  https://jindal.utdallas.edu/advising/forms/

A recording will be available afterward if you are unable to attend in person.

IMPORTANT NOTE:   While student enrollment begins on Monday, 01 November, as a new student, you will not be able to enroll until the end of the week at the very earliest.  Your personal enrollment date/time will show in your Orion account.  You will not be able to enroll in any classes until your designated time.   Please use next week to plan your courses so you are ready to enroll when you are able to.
