An accelerated ground state atom moving through a static electromagnetic cavity emits acceleration radiation into Minkowski modes of the field. On the other hand, a static ground state atom interacting with an accelerated cavity can emit a Rindler photon into the cavity. These two complementary points of view are not equivalent but yield alternative insights.
