During this talk show, Dr. Seth Hays will share information about a new strategy, vagus nerve stimulation (VNS), used to boost recovery after a stroke or spinal cord injury. The VNS rewires neurons in the brain, enhancing the brain's ability to relearn. Stimulation during rehabilitative exercise can direct specific changes in the brain.
