Comet Calendar

Grad student researchers participating in the “Animation Research Exhibition” will be talking about their work in the AHT Gallery (ATC 3.102) in the ATC building on Friday, August 30 at 4:00 p.m. Come celebrate their work and hear more about their research.

If you haven’t seen the exhibition yet, stop by to explore our students' work through informative research posters, each featuring a QR code for easy access to their full papers. This exhibition highlights various perspectives on animation and aims to make animation research more accessible.

The selected graduate students and their research topics featured in the exhibition:

  • MFA student Allanah Ahr: "Who Framed Live Action? Live Action Animated Film Shifts and Trends"
  • MFA student Jonathan Max Wheeler: "Comedy Season: The Influence of Comedy in the Work of Chuck Jones"
