The Richardson Symphony in collaboration with UT Dallas presents an enchanting evening under the stars with a FREE outdoor concert that embarks on a musical journey for all ages featuring classic pop tunes and iconic songs from the movies.

Gather your family and friends as the Richardson Symphony and UT Dallas showcase the “Richardson Symphony Sunset Serenade: Pops & Movie Magic” concert! An unforgettable outdoor concert at the SCI Courtyard. Grab your lawn chair or cozy blanket and prepare for a musical journey for all ages.

This free, family-friendly event is your chance to hear the exceptional musicianship from the Richardson Symphony Orchestra against the backdrop of a breathtaking sunset. It’s more than just a concert—it’s a community celebration and a chance for neighbors to share their love of live orchestral music. 

The performance is approximately 90 minutes and will be performed without an intermission.

• Limited bench seating is available in the SCI courtyard, so please plan to bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the concert
• Food will be available for purchase from a food truck
• You are welcome to bring your own snacks, beverages, and food. Alcohol is not permitted on the university campus.
• No ticket is required to attend. The event is free and open to the public
• Pets are not allowed
• In case of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to the Edith O’ Donnell Arts & Technology Building. Complimentary parking will be available on levels 2-5 of Parking Structure 1 (Located on the corner of Loop Rd & Drive G)
