Do you want to show you value a diverse campus community? Do you want to foster a safe place for others? SAFE ZONE Ally Training equips allies and participants to utilize gained knowledge to foster a supportive and inclusive environment for LGBTQ+ students, staff, and faculty at UT Dallas.
Session 101: Intro to LGBTQ+ Identities
September 15, 2023, 10 AM - 12 PM
Session 102: Knowledge is Power
October 13, 2023, 10 AM – 12 PM
Session 103: Allyship in Action
November 10, 2023, 10 AM - 12 PM
This series will be delivered in person in Galaxy Rooms B&C, SU 2.602. Please note that in order to receive a certificate of completion, you must participate in all three sessions. For more information, please email Assistant Director for LGBTQ+ Equity, Alexander Leyva.
A valid UTD email address is required for registration and we will ask to see your Comet Card upon sign-in. This event is for current UTD students, staff, and faculty. Requiring UTD email addresses and Comet Cards help us ensure that this event remains accessible to our campus community. If you register with a non-UTD email address, we will cancel your ticket and reach out to you about reregistering. Thank you for your understanding!
