Join EPPS along with Dr. Jennifer Holmes and Dr. Denise Boots as we feature a different recipe every month. Selected recipes can be easily altered for vegetarian and non-vegetarian individuals.

New England Corn Chowder

Ingredients

  • 3-5 lbs of Gold or Russet Potatoes 
  • 1 lb Thick-cut Bacon (Optional)
  • 4 Cans of Cream Corn
  • 1-2 gal of Milk (2% or Whole)
  • 1-2 Sticks of Butter
  • 2 Sweet Vidalia Onions
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Saltines or Oyster Crackers

  • Large Fry Pan
  • Large Stock Pot
