Speech in Noise Perception in Aging Musicians: Young Adult Controls - Psychology Lecture Series

Psychology Lecture Series - Virtual Talk

Title - Speech in Noise Perception in Aging Musicians: Young Adult Controls

Speaker - Matthew Heard
PhD Student - UT Dallas

As people age, so does their auditory perception. However, musicians seem to be immune to some of these age-related declines. This talk will review existing literature on speech-in-noise, highlight key gaps in knowledge, and share pilot data I have collected from a group of young adults who will serve as a control group in a larger experiment.

Please come ready to learn and share with others.

On MS Teams at 2:30pm., link coming soon.
