Comet Calendar

UPDATE: Due to the high volume of RSVPs, the lecture will be moved outside to the canopy area of the Athenaeum (the side facing the Naveen Jindal School of Management (JSOM)) in order to better accommodate everyone. The weather will be nice and cool at 60 degrees, but please prepare and bring a sweater, light jacket, etc. to stay warm. The reception will remain indoors. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your support!

The 12th Annual Anlin Ku Lecture on Chinese Culture presents Ken Liu, an internationally renowned science fiction/fantasy author, translator, editor, and authority on the cultural implications of technological innovation. While perhaps best known as the translator and champion of Chinese author Liu Cixin's Three-Body Problem, Liu has gained international recognition for his own fiction, for which he has won the prestigious Nebula, Hugo, Locus, and World Fantasy awards.

Join us for refreshments and hors d'oeuvres beforehand at 6:30 PM!

Presented by the Center for Asian Studies, the Anlin Ku Lecture series is co-sponsored with the Harry W. Bass Jr. School of Arts, Humanities, & Technology and the Crow Museum of Asian Art and is generously supported and endowed by Jeffrey Robinson and Stefanie Schneidler.
