Critically acclaimed by the Los Angeles Times as representing “the highest echelon of jazz tenor saxophonists,” Branford Marsalis will perform
virtuosic improvisations and uncompromising interpretations of jazz classics as well as original music on the Orchestra Hall stage with his quartet, known for its extraordinary energy. Formed in 1986, the group comprises Marsalis (saxophone), Joey Calderazzo (piano), Eric Revis (bass), and Justin Faulkner (drums).
