Join students across Texas for the 2nd Texas Regional Alliance for Campus Sustainability (TRACS) Virtual Student Summit, which is centered around the topics of Work Equity and Social Justice, on November 14th, 2022 from 12:00-4:00 p.m. CT via Zoom. The TRACS Virtual Student Summit is a student-led and student-focused sustainability conference meant to facilitate dialogues across campuses. The conference opens with a keynote by Mr. Lewis Maltby, the head of the National Workrights Institute and author of Can They Do That: Retaking our Fundamental Rights in the Workplace. Through the Work Equity Panel, you will learn from experts as they present on and discuss major work equity issues including union rights, gender equity, mental health, alternative work models, and racial equity. Students from across Texas will give Ten-Minute Presentations on pressing social justice or workforce equity issues. The event concludes with a Salary and Benefits Negotiation Workshop led by the A&M's Women's Resource Center, so you can learn to negotiate for a fair salary when you enter the workforce after graduation.
