Join the University Career Center for our Fall ’26 UT Dallas All Majors Job and Internship Fair, a two-day event focused on connecting UT Dallas students from various academic disciplines with employers across all industries. 

Fall 2026 All Majors Job and Internship Fair Dates and Times: 

All Majors: Wednesday, September 9th, 2026 

10:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M.  

All Majors: Thursday, September 10th, 2026 

10:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M.  

Location: Activity Center, Main Gym (842 Loop Rd SW, Richardson, TX 75080) 
Please note: If you are using Apple Maps you should type in "UTD Activity Center 

Entry to the fair will close at 3:00 p.m. each day, or, when the venue reaches capacity. Being in line does not guarantee entry to the event. 

Please be advised: Historically, students begin lining up for the fair several hours before it begins, so please keep this in mind when planning your arrival at the event.

Career fairs offer valuable exposure to employers and information about job opportunities. It's a chance to network with organizations, learn about their culture, and gauge if they're a good fit for you. Recruiters attend to meet candidates, discuss their application processes, collect resumes, and raise awareness about their organization. Don't miss this valuable opportunity to connect with recruiters, showcase your skills, and prepare for your future. 

A physical Comet Card is strongly encouraged. Bring multiple printed copies of your resume. For help polishing up your resume a head of time, you can make an appointment with a career advisor here: utdallas.12twenty.com/appointments.

Please note: UT Dallas Career Fairs are private events, open only to registered employers, current UTD students, and alumni. They are not open to the public. 

Wait times to enter UCC Job and Internship Fairs may exceed one (1) hour. The UCC will be enforcing reasonable measures to keep the lines moving. However, please keep in mind that attendees that get in line an hour before the doors close may not be able to enter the venue and attend the event. 

Please avoid bringing any bags inside the venue. Folders to carry  resumes are perfectly acceptable.

Registration: Please register for the Fall  2026 Job and Internship Fair so we can gauge student/alumni attendance. Registration does not guarantee entrance to the event. If you were unable to register online but arrive at the event at least an hour before it ends, you will be able to check-in and register on the spot.

Student Career Fair FAQs: 

Q: What should I bring with me to the career fair? 

A: Your physical Comet Card and several hardcopies of your resume (print out enough copies for all the companies you are interested in speaking with, plus a few extra just in case). No bag. 

Q: How long will I have to wait in line before entering the career fair? 

A: We cannot guarantee a specific wait time, but we do advise arriving as early as your schedule allows. We will do everything possible to check students in quickly when the event starts while also making sure not to overcrowd the venue. 

Q: Can I leave the line to use the restroom or go print out my resumes and have a friend hold my original space in line? 

A: We recommend printing out everything you will need before joining the line. If the line is long and you must leave it for a drink of water or to use the facilities, please speak with a UCC staff member. If no one is notified about your departure, we will not be able to vouch for you and it might cause distress amongst fellow students as cutting in line is not tolerated. We ask that you be courteous to your peers. 

Q: Do I have to register for the event in order to attend? 

A: Registration does not guarantee entry. You may check-in at the event without a registration as long as you are in line on time. 

Q: Why should I register for the event if it does not guarantee entry? 

A: Registering for the event helps gauge student attendance and interest and will ensure you receive reminders and extra information via 12Twenty about the event. 

Q: How can I prepare for the career fair? 

A: 1) Book an appointment with one of our career advisors in order to polish up your resume 2) Attend University Career Center workshops found on 12Twenty 3) Utilize the UCC's Career Resource Library, found here: https://career.utdallas.edu/students/career-resource-library/ 

Q: Why don’t I see bigger company names or specific companies I am interested in at these events? 

A: Companies recruit based on their specific needs. If a company has already met recruiting goals or they do not have open positions, they will not be seeking to attend more career fairs. Although the UCC strives to create many networking and career opportunities for our students, ultimately it is up to each individual employer to decide if they will be attending our fairs. 

Q: What is the dress code? 

A: We recommend business casual at a minimum, but no dress code is officially enforced. 

Q: Do employers offer jobs on the spot at the career fair? 

A: No. Employers may provide a means for scheduling an interview or collect contact information, but jobs are not offered on the spot during the event. 

Q: How can I look up which employers will be attending the career fair? How will I know if they offer visa sponsorships or accept OPT/CPT? 

A: A list of all employers will be included on the event page on 12Twenty where you can see all participating employers. You will also be able to check if the company offers sponsorships by exploring the employer’s profile on 12Twenty. 

Q: Is there a place inside the venue to store my backpack? 

A: No, unfortunately there is no space to store bags, which is why we ask that you do not bring them inside. 

Q: Is any food or drink provided for students? 

A: No. Please plan on eating ahead of time as we are unable to provide food or refreshments for students. 

Q: Is the career fair open to the public? 

A: No. UT Dallas Career Fairs are private events, open only to registered employers, current UTD students, and alumni. They are not open to the public.
