Undergraduate Research Match Day is open to all undergraduate students and is designed to facilitate the process of pairing motivated students with faculty who are conducting research projects. Student attendees should be prepared to articulate their qualifications and ask questions regarding what type of work the faculty member needs assistance with, the number of hours expected while working in their lab, and the work environment (for example, will you work in a lab where you will be expected to wear long sleeves and closed-toe shoes?).

How to prepare for Match Day:

  • Attend the Research Resume Workshop.
  • Attend the Faculty/Student Undergraduate Research Panel.
  • Create or update your resume and bring multiple copies with you.
  • Prepare questions that you want to ask faculty members.
