“Understanding Implicit Bias in the Classroom: How Implicit Bias Impacts Teaching, Student Learning, and the Sense of Belonging” facilitated by Daniel Cordova, Multicultural Center-Diversity Education

The presentation will explore implicit bias and how our unconscious actions can impact student learning. We will explore research studies on implicit bias and student performance; provide strategies on managing bias; and what it means to create a sense of belonging in the classroom.
