Camp Revamp: CTL Course Redesign For Faculty
Facilitated by Dr. Salena Brody, CTL Associate Director
Faculty, have you been thinking about giving one of your courses a makeover but just haven’t found the time to do it? Maybe you’ve been curious about incorporating more team-based learning, replacing tired essay prompts, trying a flipped classroom, giving ungrading a spin, opting for open educational resources, or incorporating new tech into your teaching. Whatever changes you are considering, Camp Revamp is the space for you. Part workshop, part workspace, this session invites you to bring your own device and re-envision your course alongside CTL staff and faculty colleagues. The workshop will offer a Revamp Roadmap and participants can work together or independently on rethinking aspects of their courses (e.g. writing new assignments, imagining new forms of assessment, rethinking use of class time, and more). Join us for this dedicated time to give our courses the glow up they been waiting for. Limited space available, please RSVP to reserve your spot. Bring your own device and update your course.
Tuesday, August 6
1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
CTL Workspace (MC 2.404)
Refreshments will be served
Open to all Faculty
