 the 8th Annual Volunteer Career Expo!\n\nThis event will be held during We
 eks of Welcome on Thursday\, August 26\, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. 
 on Handshake. The Volunteer Expo is an opportunity for students to "window
  shop" for volunteering opportunities all over Dallas!\n\nVolunteering not
  only allows you to help others and positively impact our community\, it a
 llows you to explore your interests and goals\, as well as learn valuable 
 job skills. Of course\, volunteering also adds value to your resume\, and 
 it’s a great way to make friends and meet potential employers.\n\nVolunt
 eer opportunities exist on campus and in the community in a wide variety o
 f areas\, such as with sports and recreation\, museums\, afterschool progr
 amming’s\, and the environment. You could also work with children and yo
 uth\, or volunteer with adults with disabilities or at an animal shelter.
