Dr. Ling is a world-renowned neurologist, board certified in both Neurology and Neuro Critical Care and retired from the U.S. Army at the rank of Colonel. In 2014, he championed the development of responsive, brain-controlled artificial limbs as director of the DARPA Biological Technologies Office at the Department of Defense. He was considered the Army’s premier subject-matter expert on traumatic brain injury and has more than 150 peer-reviewed journal articles, reviews and book chapters to his credit.
