Workshop: Writing Effective Literature Reviews
Wednesday, 8/3, 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. on Microsoft Teams.
Register HERE by 7/21.
How do you effectively put your sources in conversation both with each other and with your own arguments? In this workshop we will deconstruct literature reviews and you will learn tools to help you more effectively frame sources. Together we will look at examples to better understand what readers might expect from a literature review, and then discuss how to develop your own work in light of your goals and your readers’ expectations. In developing techniques for writing literature reviews, we will also be developing tools to frame sources for other documents such as seminar papers, dissertation proposals, and dissertation introductions.
Persons with disabilities may submit a request for accommodations to participate in this event at UT Dallas' ADA website. You may also call (972) 883-5331 for assistance or send an email to ADACoordinator@utdallas.edu. All requests should be received no later than 10 business days prior to the event.
