Welcome Week: Kickoff Soccer Social
Hosted by the Jonsson School & UREC
Kick off the semester by finding your team and making new connections! Join the Jonsson School and UREC for a fun, friendly indoor soccer tournament during Welcome Week fall 2026. Register with your own team or sign up as a Free Agent, and we'll place you on a team, so everyone has a chance to play.
Whether you're a seasoned soccer player or just looking to meet fellow Comets, this event is a great way to build community, stay active, and “Find Your Place” at the Jonsson School.
Championship T-shirts will be awarded to the winning team!

Teams can be between 5 to 10 players for 5v5 games. We will have a tournament monitor on site. Water/Gatorade will be provided. Tournament brackets, game schedules, and other details will be shared with participants closer to the event date.
Check in with the UT-Dallas App, and as always, supplies are first-come, first-served.
Please also bring canned goods and other nonperishable items to support the Comet Cupboard!
